The Nemesis
People are waking up.
They are starting to realize that something isn’t right around them. The world that they were raised to believe was normal is not, they feel this deep down, even if they can’t admit it out loud or even consciously recognize it.
This isn’t the 1990s anymore. Prosperity from abundant energy, global supply chains, cheap goods imported from 3rd world laborers is gone, and may not return ever again (Macron recently declared an end to the Age of Abundance; Powell promised, in an address to Jackson Hole, “there will be pain”). In the 60s, a man could support a family; today, two earners can barely afford rent for themselves. There are no signs, not even one, that these trends will soon reverse.
What are we to do?
A hero won’t come to save you. No, you must summon the hero from within yourself.
Amicable reader, I can see you rolling your eyes. I get it, you are thinking, you’ve read Bronze Age Mindset. You see where this is going: Leviathan breeds bugs, and Higher Life needs to reawaken in humanity, the fire of youth and vitality needs to stage a comeback.
All that is true, yes, but there’s more, and it’s important to understand:
Higher Life is born through force of Will, which is in fact power of Spirit. A man who lives as a conduit of his Will, his Spirit, his Life Force is the Enemy of the Leviathans — the Nemesis. Christianity’s Son of God and Nietzsche’s Ubermensch are in fact the same Being: the archetypes of this Nemesis.
A Son, a Superman, a Nemesis … this is the next step in a new evolutionary paradigm within humanity: Spiritual Speciation.
Specific spiritual practices are required to advance through this new evolution, to achieve metamorphoses of Man from Lower Life to Higher, from Slave to Master, from Bug-man to Nemesis.
The Secret Fire in the Heart of Higher Life
There is an intelligent, ordering force in the universe. This is easily observable by the natural law which organizes energy into increasingly larger, more complex forms.
This force is the same as the vital, animating force within carbon-based life-forms. Examine an apple tree. It started as a seed. Inside the seed, there is carbon-based genetic material, but within that material there is an Intangible Intelligence which moves matter to sprout and stem and flower and fruit, to pull nutrients from the environment in order to achieve the blossoming. The tree exists in space and time, but the Intelligence in the seed exists in neither; no microscope can see it, no scientific utensil can hold it. And yet the Flower is the Intelligence, and this untouchable Intelligence moves the Matter.
This force has been given many names over the course of history. As a macrocosmic force, it has been called God, the Father, the Tao, Brahman. As an internal, psychological force, it is called the Word of God, Will to Power, True Will, the Spirit.
This Spirit lives inside all men, but, the great tragedy of our materialistic age is this: the Spirit is conditioned into slumber. The Fire has been dampened and indeed even snuffed out in billions of people. Instead of following our Will to Power, we bow to the will of Leviathan.
But there is also a great hope: within each of us is the capacity to reshape our lives through the power of our Inner Will.
The difference between someone who has awoken his Will and lives as a conduit of his Instinct, and someone who is still asleep to the nature of the Leviathans and his own latent power, is no different than the gap between a human and a chimpanzee. Actually, the gap between a great man or philosopher and an average man, is greater than the gap between an average man and a chimpanzee. The realm of the real Spirit, the true artist, saint, philosopher, is rarely achieved. Why so few? The answer is another question: which is the most universal human characteristic — fear, or laziness?
Sons of God
If God is the Source of Being, the Intelligence in a Seed, the Instinct within Man, the Creative and Ordering Force that exists both in the Universe and within Life … then what is a Son of God except for someone who lives in perfect harmony with this inner spark of divinity, someone who is animated by this eternal flame?
Generous reader, it is not my intention to convert you to Christianity. I have only noticed that Christian language contains useful symbols to describe the true nature of Man.
And I’ve also noticed — and would like to show you as well — how there is tremendous overlap between what Jesus Christ described as a Son of Man, and what Friedrich Nietzsche described as a Superman, an Ubermensch.
Nietzsche had no love for Jesus or the Christian church — this much is obvious. But I posit two novel ideas here for your consideration: First, Nietzsche didn’t really understand the message of Christ (he looked at church leaders and followers and judged Christ’s message based on them); Second, Christ and Nietzsche were both exhorting men to do the same thing — and never mind that they went about it in very different ways, focusing on different aspects of Higher Life, and using different language.
Read how Jesus describes a Son of Man, with the understanding of the Father / Spirit I have provided above:
Jesus gave them this answer: "I tell you the truth, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does. For the Father loves the Son and shows him all he does.”
So Jesus said, “When you have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am he and that I do nothing on my own but speak just what the Father has taught me.”
Jesus moves as a conduit of a higher force. He only does what “the Father says to do” — following the will of the ordering force of the universe that also exists within him.
Now see how Nietzsche describes Inspiration, in light of what we just learned about Jesus:
Has anyone at the end of the nineteenth century a clear idea of what poets of strong ages have called inspiration? If not, I will describe it. — If one had the slightest residue of superstition left in one's system, one could hardly reject altogether the idea that one is merely incarnation, merely mouthpiece, merely a medium of overpowering forces. The concept of revelation — in the sense that suddenly, with indescribable certainty and subtlety, something becomes visible, audible, something that shakes one to the last depths and throws one down — that merely describes the facts. One hears, one does not seek; one accepts, one does not ask who gives; like lightning, a thought flashes up, with necessity, without hesitation regarding its form — I never had any choice.
Everything happens involuntarily in the highest degree but in a gale of feeling of freedom, of absoluteness, of power, of divinity.
This is my experience of inspiration; I do not doubt that one has to go back thousands of years in order to find anyone who could say to me, "it is mine as well."
(I do not doubt it either, Friedrich!)
Nietzsche is moved by overpowering force. He accepts, without asking. He recognizes it as divine. He does not have a choice. He only follows the will of the divine forces within him.
So, Nietzsche is animated by a Great Inner Will; a Son of God is animated by the Source Spirit. Isn’t it possible, don’t you think, inquisitive reader, that these two great philosophers were getting at the same Great Truth, and that the span of centuries and his experience with European Christians may have blurred Nietzsche’s vision to this possibility? Isn’t it possible that Great Men have intuited the source of Greatness — a divine force within their hearts — and are exhorting others to find it and learn to be animated by it?
To be sure, there’s some difference between Christians and Nietzscheans, but none that can’t be reconciled: Christians must acknowledge the Father doesn’t require you to light your arm on fire to keep your neighbor warm; compassion is good, but only to a point. Further, the organized Christian church’s focus on congregation as a herd is all off: Man can be lion, he’s not doomed to be a lamb. Remember, Jesus called on his disciples to use the sword, and he used physical force on usurers in the temple. Nietzscheans on the other hand must acknowledge that the Great Inner Will often calls for love and compassion for neighbors. The straightest, widest oath toward the goal of Peace for one’s self is often (though not always, no) altruism, selfless love.
I think it’s more than mere coincidence that multiple great philosophers across the ages seem to point to the same truth: that Man is something to overcome, if he only would let the great spiritual power latent within work through him.
The process of overcoming, the keys to unlocking this spiritual power, the science and art of ascending… We need to be talking about these things!
Spiritual Speciation
Imagine two people standing in line at the DMV together, one is spiritually whole, the other is spiritually defunct. One lifts and meditates, the other reads Vox and NYT. Groomed hair, vs blue hair. You get the picture. Though biologists will classify these two individuals as the same species, homo sapiens — and technically they’re right, in their classification system — the reality is that these are now two completely different beings, animated by different spirits.
Today, we are living through a great filtering, a giant split in the chain of human evolution.
We are living through an age of Spiritual Speciation.
Look at the highlights of human development: First look at the evolution of the organism, then the evolution of its interaction with the environment. It begins with life, proceeds through hominid, comes to neanderthal man. You’re looking at three phases of development: 1) biological, 2) anthropological (cities cultures), and 3) cultural (human expression). Next, look at evolution of populations, and look at the time scales — 2 billion years for evolution of life, 6 million years for evolution of the hominid. 100 thousand years for mankind as we know it — you begin to see the telescoping nature of evolution. Then when you get to agricultural, scientific / industrial — you’re looking at 10,000 years, 400 years, 150 years — you see further telescoping. So, as we go through a new revolution it will telescope even more, within our lifetime. Within a generation.
In the old paradigm, one species would die and the other would grow and dominate, but in the new paradigm, Evolution now becomes an individually centered process, not an external process where the individual is just a part of a whole. It creates a new human, a new consciousness. The old evolution is cold, sterile, efficient, its manifestations are those for social adaptation (parasitism, morality, dominance, war, predation). These are subject to de-emphasis in the new evolution.
This means that the new evolution is quintessentially spiritual (if the spiritual is to be understood as the intangible animating forces within man’s psyche). It is development and sublimation of mind and soul either towards perfection or towards corruption, towards freedom or towards slavery. It no longer bothers with phenotypes or biological development.
The old evolution was a war between organisms, it was mechanical and fated. The new evolution is nothing less than a war between gods.
Spiritual Speciation.
The Nemesis is the New Species, the New Man who has found this fire and lives to bring it out. He is the next step in the new evolution.
Let him be aware of the jungle he is living in, because it is precarious for him:
Leviathan is intentionally breeding this lower form of life, and is even hunting higher life into extinction. Higher life must breed itself— and if they do not possess the self-consciousness to know the difference between their species, and the others, then they will fall into the hive in a matter of one or two generations. They have grand master plans for global digital currency, bug-based food, open borders, and the end of property ownership.

But we have reached a turning point in history. As the walls of Leviathan’s cathedral begin to crumble, and as its tentacles fail to hold all corners of its empire, the conditions become ripe for the Spirit to return into the world; and, as the pressures mount higher and higher, the Spirit stirs more and more in our hearts.
Higher Life will only win if a critical mass of people unlock the power latent within themselves; if enough people evolve into Supermen; if the process of speciation yields enough men and women who live as conduits of Spirit.
Man must choose his path, or he will have it chosen for him.
The hour is late.
The Path of Metamorphoses
Certain practices are required to metamorphosize yourself into this Higher form of life, to achieve the desired speciation.
Purify the Body: Proper diet and exercise will stoke the flame. People are happier when they are physically healthier. Strong metabolism and physique provides fuel for the soul. God’s light shines brightest through his greatest temples.
Quiet the Mind: Meditation helps the individual feel the flame. It is forming a habit and strengthening the brain to be able to let go of thoughts and control emotions, thereby breaking your social conditioning. Like exercise, it is hard at first and takes a long time to realize results, but after years, the results are obvious.
Cultivate Relationships: Strong bonds with family and fraternities will help spread the flame. Advanced life tends to be anti-collectivist, but strong social units are required to develop and sustain it, especially in the face of existential danger.
Intentional Joyfulness: Spend time in nature, and under the light of the sun. Man is not meant to live indoors. Your instinct knows this, your conditioning does not. Marvel at the wonders of creation!
Eliminate Poison: Porn and masturbation should be eliminated. Television and social media should be limited. Alcohol and drug use should be strictly moderated. This isn’t to be a straight edge and deny pleasure — this is to put long term happiness ahead of short term pleasure.
These practices are only a beginning. I could go on for much longer, and have elsewhere. Point is: there are specific conditions required to bring out the ideal form of man. If you do these things listed above, consistently, you will begin to realize a metamorphoses occurring within you, and then a new world opens up to a new individual.
A seed needs good soil, water, and sunlight, to reach its final form, its flower and fruit. That’s it. It’s very simple. Now, humor me, and consider the possibility that, if every human were an apple seed, we have put ourselves in arid soil, starved ourselves of water and sunlight, and in fact have introduced certain herbicides into our environment. Consider that only very few of us are actually reaching the point in our development where we are bearing fruit anymore; but that we need a majority to bear fruit, in order to win back our world. Consider that we just didn’t know any better when we dove head first into a state of unending rapid technological and cultural change with the dawn of industrial civilization. Consider that we got so hung up asking whether or not we could that we never stopped to ask if we should.
Our system does not serve the needs of its people. Our people serve the needs of the system. Why have we allowed this to happen? Because the system pays a very handsome salary to those who manage it, and they have every incentive to keep it alive and growing. Their top job responsibility is to keep the rest of us at its heel, and they have done a very good job of it.
But they are slipping…
Water and Light
Seeds need water and light, and so does man.
I have written extensively about Jungian psychology, and its relationship to spirituality. Spirit is an immaterial force that moves matter or mind, and the forces in our subconscious are effectively Gods in this sense — they control far more in our lives than we can comprehend, though we cannot ever really touch or feel them.
One of Jung’s most important claims — perhaps the most important — was that for man to achieve psychic wholeness and what he called individuation (“the growth of human personality, and flowering of consciousness”), he must marry his conscious ego-personality with his subconscious instinct, living in tune with his true nature.
Only under ideal conditions, when life is simple and unconscious enough to follow instinct without hesitation, the integration works with success. The more civilized, the more conscious and complicated a man is, the less he is able to follow his instincts. His complicated living conditions and the influence of his environment are so strong that they drown the quiet voice of nature. Opinions, beliefs, theories, and collective tendencies appear in nature’s stead and back up all the aberrations of the conscious mind. Deliberate attention should then be given to the unconscious so that the compensation can work. Hence it is especially important to picture the archetypes of the unconscious not as a rushing series of images but as constant, autonomous factors (which, indeed, they are).
— Jung, Aion
In his clinical work, Jung identified Water as a universal dream symbol representing the subconscious (subjects in boats, or encountering sea-creatures, always coincided with subconscious contents), and Light as representing the subject’s awareness (appearing in lamp-posts, spotlights, sunlight, etc.). The forces which exist beneath the water, he claims, have control over us until we shine a light on them and become aware of the way that they work — he called this '“throwing light into the darkness,” where one becomes aware of factors that normally live beneath the surface of consciousness, and then begins to integrate those contents into their ego personality. Leviathan, a demonic creature of the deep which appears in religious myths, is a spiritual force for discontent in man’s soul; but he can be defeated by shining light upon him. By integrating parts of the subconscious into the conscious self, Man takes control, he is no longer controlled. He can achieve Individuation — flowering of self.
The subconscious rules our lives, but we are capable of moderating and even altering the subconscious through great conscious effort — the simplest and best example is committing to diet and exercise through will power. Wake up early, hit the weights, get your cardio in, eat lots of eggs and fat, limit alcohol and processed sugar, and you will find in time your entire demeanor has changed. Through conscious will, you’ve altered chemical processes and therefore subconscious processes within yourself — that is, through force of spirit, you’ve changed the physical. Or perhaps it is so that by consciously choosing to change the physical, you change the spirit. This is just one example, but it confirms a greater truth:
By conscious effort, through force of will, man can free himself from the forces that control him.
Conclusion
Sam Francis identified Middle American Radicals as Leviathan’s Enemy, and he is right in one aspect: a heavily armed and dissident American *movement*, comprised of people who share roots in both blood and soil, as well as common class distinction, is the only enemy capable of withstanding Leviathan’s assault. He identified the Global American Empire’s Federal Executive Agency (comprised of FBI, CIA, DOJ, IRS, and Pentagon) as the Imperial Presidency, and the Emperor understands who his enemy is (notice everything outside of the Overton Window is now classified as “Far Right”). Leviathan knows the true threat of its greatest enemy, and the Beast is ruthless in its aggression, insatiable in its hunger, and deadly in its fear.
But to make a *movement* successful… that requires something more than common class and enemy, more than guns and ammo. Sam Francis saw this sad fact: that because this group never achieved self-consciousness as an “us” against “them,” the activists could never build nationwide coalitions or make a stand against the beast.
… never achieved self-consciousness …
Here’s the thing: we won’t win unless we get enough people to wake up, and see the enemy for what it is.
So, first of all we need to spread the truth like wild-fire. That means you need to educate friends and family who suspect something is wrong but can’t really put their finger on how dire it is — the complete destruction of human psychology and civilization is on the line. Yes, you need to actually do some work to help the cause.
But it’s more than just evangelizing… It is not enough to merely see the enemy for what it is. We need to do more than educate.
Yes, if the Lion cannot see that predicament, he will fail.
But also, if the Lion doesn’t know how to breed strong lions, he will fail.
We need to reignite fires that have been lying dormant within ourselves — or, if we have already reignited our own fire, we have a duty to light it in others. This is real work that needs to be done, and I am telling you that it is work of a spiritual nature.
We need to be consciously reconditioning our subconscious brain to enable this light to shine through us.
We need to awaken our consciousness to the iron prison that surrounds us, but also to the slumber of our minds and their latent power.
We need more people to SEE: to see the nature of the Beast — both its political shell and its psychological source, to see the mortal illness which has risen in our culture and minds which now passes off as a normal life.
We need stronger consciousness. We need stronger Will.
We need to find the secret fire, stoke it, and spread it like the world depends on it, because it does.
There exists a world-changing power deep within us. A critical mass of people need to find that power, develop it, and exercise it, now more than ever.
Leviathans and their Enemy - Part 3
Excellent. I refer to it as the robotification or commodification of man. Renaud Camus calls it, "undifferentiated human matter." Most Christians churches have bent to it. I am unsure Islam can stand firm. UAE have objected to the US state department pushing LBGT (which commodifies bodies), but Saufi Arabia seems to have joined the global west. Cell phone, propaganda in your pocket, is indoctrination, and reaching the young.
Christianity, "the in this world, but not of this world", is a start, but not strong enough. I found the Benedict Option, head for small towns, isolate in manual labour independent work (not corporate), good advice. Not sure really.
A global depression seems in the offing. I pray this gives large numbers introspection.
Hi Aionist, I very much enjoyed this series, thank you for sharing it. Here is my feedback:
1. First, nicely written and nice length per each part; it was an easy read and you communicated your points well.
2. I agree with you that the managerial class and its enablers, along with increased technology leading to increased centralization and decreased freedom and autonomy (the "Leviathan") is gradually stomping out the individualism that occurs when we listen to our internal voices; true individuals are becoming harder and harder to find, and NPCs proliferate like wildfire. Individualism should be encouraged no matter how quirky or odd, as long as that person is listening to their own voice.
3. We have been fed so much false information in every aspect of life, undergone so much brainwashing, that the process of becoming individualized by listening to our inner voice feels like a really long-term process, maybe a lifetime process. I definitely don't think that I'm at the end of the process myself, and am constantly learning new things that deepen and enrich my thought processes. It was much easier for people to be their own person in prior generations.
4. I always enjoy when authors reference and discuss Ted Kaczynski, so nice choice on that; an author's willingness to discuss him shows that he is willing to at least wrestle with and contend with anti-social views, which is a marker of free thinking.
5. I have not studied Bronze Age Pervert much, to be honest, because he seems to focus on a combination of hedonism, homosexuality, and anti-natalist values that I don't think have any chance at winning long-term (and which contributes to the criticism of him as a gatekeeper). In 100 years from now if current trends continue you'd see a whole lot of Haredi Jews, a whole lot more Amish, and a lot more fundamentalist Muslims, not BAP types.
6. I don't know exactly what the path forward is, to be honest; it seems like at this point things are destined to get much worse. There are too few awake people and globohomo seems too metastasized, too far along in the process, with CBDCs about to be unleashed which will result in the greatest loss of individual freedom in human history. People are simply too comfortable with their bread and circuses of Netflix, porn, and McDonalds. In addition to the Leviathan that you blame, I think (1) the privately owned central bank owners also share a lot of the blame (although it's not clear how much control they have over this process at this point, which has taken on a mind of its own) and (2) the extreme focus on equality and leveling down anything good and great are tied to the origins of Christianity itself, which can only be addressed via at least a partial Nietzschian transvaluation of values: to accept that inequality is OK on its own without equivocation, that at least in this world inequality is both OK and proper in a functioning society, is needed for any chance at reversal. (That's if one believes in the possibility of success in the material realm, anyway; the world increasingly seems to me that a deeply malevolent Demiurge is in control...)
7. You may want to consider creating a new header on your main page as "Philosophy" or something similar linking to this 3 parter, a summary of it, or at least to part 1 (if that is your intent with the 3 parter; perhaps it is not); your "About" section could also mention it. It is too easy for older posts to otherwise get "lost" so to speak for those who don't dig into the archives of an author's substack -- the general rule should be make it as easy to find and as simple to summarize for ADD-addled readers so that it catches their attention.
8. On a smaller note, you might like this short post by R. Toney Brooks who also delves into the Jungian shadow archetype: https://rationalspirituality.substack.com/p/who-knows-what-evil-lurks-in-the
Anyway overall very solid job with this essay series and I hope you continue to write more.
